Posted 16 August 2010 -- Marine Biology Related -- VA

We have a vacant position that will not be filled any time soon due to budget cuts but I want to be proactive in establishing a list of qualified Navy divers that have at least an undergraduate degree in Marine Biology/Ecology but preferably a Masters in same with several years experience in biostatistics and conducting survey methodologies used for assessments of coral reefs and other benthic habitats.

More than likely the position will be in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Can I get the word out on this website? Navy divers can send me resumes but I want to make it clear that no offers are being made at this point in time.

Very Respectfully,

Don Marx
Marine Ecologist/Dive Safety Administrator/U.S. Navy Diver NAVFAC ESC Scientific Diving Services
